At Shetland Market we offer a fast and reliable delviery service for our Provider's products. Our Providers will aim to dispatch your products as soon as possible and will keep you informed as to when the order is likely to arrive.
You can expect a personal confirmation from each of the Providers you ordered from within 48 hours of your order, and you shouldn't be waiting more than 5 days longer to receive your products. Some products are custom made or cannot be dispatched immediately; Please read product descriptions carefully before you buy as this will be stated.
Shipping Costs
Because you are ordering products from our Providers (remember we hold no stock) the cost of shipping can vary. Each Provider you order from may add a small delivery charge onto their products to cover these costs.
We ask each Provider to limit their shipping to £3.95 per order, meaning this is the maximum you will pay per Provider.
Many of our Providers have agreed to ship their products for free to simplify the site. When you have placed the items you want to order in your cart, simply click "View Cart" and it will calculate your order shipping cost.
Collection from a Lerwick address / meeting point
Some of our items, particularly those sourced from Lerwick-based providers are available for collection in Shetland for those customers who live in Shetland. Take a good look at the product description to see the Provider'd terms on this shipping method.
Note: If your order contains products from multiple providers, this option may not be available any more. If this occurs, you will need to purchase the items separately, rather than in 1 order.
International Shipping
Sorry, but we currently don't ship items outside the UK. If you live abroad and would like to place an order, please contact us and we will try to arrange shipping for you.
We are aiming to add international shipping in the near future.
